The Relocation of December 2011
Moving (at Christmas)...the impractical thing that truly can make or break a relationship! Two head strong people with two active preschoolers and buckets of animals to join the mix. Praise GOD we love each other and Praise GOD he gives us the ability to pick our battles (sometimes after the battle begins)...a decade together and we are still going strong...who knew love and marriage could be so complicated, exhausting, and thrilling all at the same time..!!o

Who knew the tiny baby I brought home from the hosptial could grow so quickly! Time certainly goes by fast, I am certainly blessed to get to spend every second of my time with you!
January 19, 2007 William
Your Dad has just returned from a 10 day trip to Wyoming for BNSF. He is in awe at all the changes that you have made. Sometimes I am almost jealous of the fine details he see's, I guess that is what time and distance does. I feel as though I somehow missed that milestone or carelessly overlooked it, when in reality I know I haven't and I have been blessed with every second of you!
The Bond you have developed with Isabel is wonderful to watch, we will hold you above her and you just laugh....

We are trying Oatmeal instead of Rice Cereal and I agree with you that it looks and smells disgusting...maybe next time I put some fruit in it! YUCK....

Call me a risk taker but we went to play in the basement today! Winter has been long and cold and we all needed a little change in scenery, don't get me wrong, the basement is finished it's not like a dungeon....still I can say with certainty you did not appreciate the change AND it's official you hate pengiuns!
January 18, 2007 William
Well it's official, while practicing tummy time you rammed your fingers into your sisters nose...she was not pleased!
January 17, 2007 William
Well today was your big day...you rolled from your tummy to your back! I was so excited I called your Dad at work! Later in the evening I thought I would try transitioning you to your crib since you have been in the big bed for months now. Needless to say~NO GO on the Transition!
January 17, 2007 Isabel
You have officially been discharged from therapy....turns out your neck alignment was a result of womb positioning and not that bully nurse gripping your fragile little head and slamming it aggressively at my breast while trying to nurse! OOOPPPSSS...my apologies!
January 16, 2007 Isabel
Today was an exciting day filled with laughter as I watched you roll over for the first time from your back to your stomach. Wishing your Daddy was closer to have been able to see it for himself but I will fill him in later when we talk on the telephone!
We wrapped our busy day up with bathtime, Polar Bear Polar Bear and snuggle time in the big bed!

You are beginning to stand for a few minutes when I hold onto your hands! What a blessing it is to watch you grow and change developmentally each day...everyday I see you explore something new and everyday you change just a little, the change is so small in fact it almost goes unnoticed and yet in the grand scheme of things, it's amazing.
Your laughter is intoxicating and your will very strong, when you are upset you don't hesitate to let your father and I know it.

Well today you are still recovering from your immunizations and have been running a fever for the majority of the day, nursing seems to help soothe you and ease you into sleep...now if we can just make sure we don't pass around the infamous pink eye we will have really accomplished something!
January 15, 2007 William
Well it's official, you CAN BE the germaphobic mom and still manage to take your child somewhere to come in contact with Pink Eye.
You are miserable and have cried off and on all day not only from having your immunizations (which I am still nervous about) but also because while at the doctors office you came into contact with good ol' fashion conjunctivitis! Your Great Uncle Terry motored through the ice and snow to get the eye drops from the pharmacy since your Daddy is on the road!
Thankfully, you are resting peacefully after a warm bath and a soothing swaddle in your favorite blue blanket.

What an amazing child you are! From the moment God placed you inside me I knew of your kindness. As you layed beneath my heart I could feel your presence and bond. What a blessing you are for us, you are alert and alive with curiousity, strong and sincere, challenging and demanding, yet quiet and calm. You fill us up with so much joy and I am amazed with you!
Before your arrival we knew we needed to find the perfect name for you, for the man you would grow to be. Your name William is German and means Protector and we know as God guides you on your journey through life, this name will serve you well.

I am so grateful to have you in my life. What a blessing you are. From the moment you were lovingly placed within my womb I have known you. From the moment you decided to sit bottom down and never turn back over...you have been independant and strong, compassionate and loving, stubborn and graceful.
You are an amazing work of God and I am in awe of you.
Before your arrival into the world, we searched for the perfect name, a name that would fit you and the woman you would become. Your name Isabel is Hebrew and means My God is a Vow, your name is perfect!

January 2006 Waiting for you
(January 2006)
Pregnancy, the moment in time when you know what you have held onto in your heart will become the reality of the little person you will soon hold in your arms.
For some this process is simple, like a shallow breath of air, for others (like us) it is riddled with speed bumps, delays and a series of waiting. The essence of time goes by so quickly in life but not when you are trying to conceive a child. When you are going through fertility treatments, everyday is a long drawn out process; agonizing tests, painful shots, and many times shattering disappointments.
For us, the wait paid off and the Lord graciously blessed our patience with the two of you!

October 3, 2011 Who Knew
Who knew that it would take five years after the birth of my children that documenting would become so intensely important to their exhistance. Not only am I fumbling through my beginning ramblings of scribbles on paper and current status quotes of day to day life, but I fully intend to go back and document every funny, not so funny, moment in my active twins lives. For what....to equip them with something I never had..laugh out load moments and delicate ramblings of a perfect little life filled with sleepless nights and daydreams of their grand future!
